Shannon Behrend approaches her role as VP of strategy and operations with a keen eye for people and their needs. From strategy and finance to HR and organizational effectiveness, she keeps all the wheels turning efficiently here at MJM. Her experience is rooted in startups, where she’s had roles in marketing, sales, customer experience and operations. While she’s adopted many responsibilities over the years, she’s most passionate about raising her three children. This inspired her to co-found The Gathering Well, a nonprofit dedicated to providing adoptive and foster families with community and training resources. When she’s out of the office, you can find Shannon connecting with other in the community, cheering on her kids, exercising, going on long walks and hikes, or facilitating Gathering Well workshops that help people care well for themselves and others.
